Meet Alicia, a dedicated Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a decade of diverse experience in Primary Care, Inpatient Hospital, and Home Health settings. Her journey in healthcare has been fueled by a commitment to comprehensive care and a belief in the power of empowering families to make informed choices for their children's well-being.
Alicia's philosophy revolves around the concept of whole health for children, recognizing that physical, emotional, and environmental factors all play vital roles in a child's development. Through her practice, she strives to create a supportive environment that not only treats illness but also educates and empowers families to build a foundation of lasting health for their little ones.
Having chosen Mt. Washington as her home, Alicia, along with her family, identified a need for Local, Accessible, Pediatric Primary Care in the community. This realization became the driving force behind the establishment of Mt. Washington Pediatrics in 2024. Alicia's commitment to the families and children of Mt. Washington is deeply rooted in her personal connection to the community she calls home.

Cortney Buse- FNP-MSN-BSN
Thrilled to have joined Mt. Washington Pediatrics in January 2026, Cortney has nearly a decade of experience in healthcare, including pediatric primary care and maternal/newborn nursing. She graduated from the University of Louisville for both her undergraduate (2022) and graduate (2025) programs, becoming board-certified in Family Health shortly thereafter. Cortney has a heart for children, being a mother herself. She believes the best care comes with a partnership between provider, parent, and patient. Excited to adopt integrative principles into her practice, she looks forward to caring for the families that entrust her with their child’s health. She enjoys coffee, outdoor activities, and her friends, but cherishes most a quiet life at home with her family, dogs, and chickens.
